Happy Happy Joy Joy

Hot damn something I can be "Happy" about posting. After grabbing the pole for today's Pepsi 300 Busch Series, Denny Hamlin had to settle for a third place finish. RCR took the first two spots. Hell of a run for Clint. A couple of more laps and I think the finish would be reversed. Either way I would have still been good. Although Happier with this result. How about Kyle? Chirped his tires earlier this week and chirped them twice today. Once even got into the wall, poor Shrubs. All together now Boo Hoo Hoo! Got to give Kevin some credit. He is driving two different cars and holding a 146 point lead over Denny and Clint is hanging in there just 199 points back. Third in owner points with three different drivers in that 33 Outdoor Channel car, makes me think KHI is a future dynasty in the making. More and more Kevin remind me of Dale Sr. His business sense as well as his dedication and drive. Not to mention being a partner in business with DeLana. Now if he could only win a Cup Championship. It seems he has the Busch Series down pretty good.

North Carolina’s Stephen Leicht, in a Robert Yates Racing Ford, earned his career-first ARCA RE/MAX Series victory in only his second series start Saturday afternoon at Nashville Superspeedway, claiming the PFG Lester 150. Good top ten run for pole sitter Stephen Wallace, not to shabby considering the fizzucked up pit stop he AND his crew had. Tenacity just like his father.
