God Bless Paul Dana and his family during this time of loss. A rookie in the IRL was tragically killed at Homestead today. An ex Journalist and car enthusiest he will be sorely missed. Paul Dana dead at age 30.Dana is the first IRL driver killed since Tony Renna died in a crash during testing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in October 2003.
It is the third racing death at the Homestead track - John Nemechek was killed in a NASCAR truck race in February 1997 and Jeff Clinton died in a Grand Am sports car event at the track in March 2002
After a action packed 500 laps, Kurt Busch won....again at Bristol. The car is different, the number is different, the move and the boos from the fans were the same. What the fizzuck was that wanna-be snow angel move? Moving Matt outta the way "Rubberhead" said that is just Bristol. Martinsville is next week. Two races at Bristol and two second place finishes for Happy. The worst part was getting beat by Dumbo today and Dumboer yesterday. What about the Rainblow Warrior? He sure got his panities in an uproar. Best part is JJ is third in points. Remember what I said about it being funny if Chad came back and JJ falters? Must be my JJ voodoo doll!!!!
