Unless you are living under a rock with no sort of cable, than you probably already know that Mark Martin will take the seat vacated by "Sluggo" Mears next year for HMS. Hey I have no problems with Mark, but isn't he a tad too fuckin old to run for a "Championship"??? I know he can still drive, hell he put a DEI car on the first row as did Paul Menard for the pole. That in it's self shocked the lugnuts off of me. I guess his "better half" gave him permission to do it, so Rick said: SURE!!! Good luck Mark, I wish you the best. Just don't get too bummed when it doesn't produce what you think it will. One must ponder will Geritol pony up and become a sponsor or will the AARP be the ones???" I can't imagine Mark eating a bowl of Frosted Flakes and saying "They're GRRReat!!!"
Props to Dimwit and that number 20 Toyota Coca-Cola team for their win last night. Man that is one team that is hitting on all 8 cylinders. Shit I bet even Morgan Shepard could win in this ride. Got to give props to the rest of the top ten: Shrubs, Junebug, Clint Bowyer, The Kes, Kasey Kahne, Scott Wimmer, David Stremme, "Dart Without Wings" David Ragan, and Mike Bliss. Must add props to Kerry Earnhardt for his 17th place finish in the first race Kerry has ran since who the fuck knows when. Gr8 job Kerry. Keep that seat warm for Jeffery.
Holy shit can you believe that Paul Menard got the pole and Mark Martin is sitting next to him on the outside of Paul??? Damn I wonder how long those powerful DEI motors will last Saturday night??? Unbelievably DEI has another car in the top ten and it's not Martin Truex Jr., it's Regan Smith starting 8th. Matrin starts 35th in a back up car since his original one got nabbed by NASCAR for illegal roof or something like that. SHAME SHAME SHAME Bono!!! Others in the top ten include: Junior starting third, Joe Nemechek, Johnny Sauter, David "Wingless" Ragan, Boris "Said Head" Said, Shrub-a-dub-dub, and Patrick Carpentier. Other notables include: Kevin Harvick, 14th; Denny Hamlin, 15th; Tony Stewart, 17th; Matt Kenseth, 19th; and Jeff Burton, 23rd.
