Hi this is Susan. Love the pics. I know life must move on but I really miss a lot about the old days of racin. The biggest void is Dale being gone. I also miss Davey Allison. I thought (at the time) I was in love with him. I think he may have won championship(s) had he have lived. Allan Kulwicki, Tim Richmond. I actually saw Richard Petty race here in Asheville, NC at our speedway which was Nascar sanctioned so he could count a win here on his resume. Awesome to watch. Wow better stop. typing too much.
Sad thing is, we'll never see those days again. At least we have the memories to hold onto. These new fans today don't know half of what they missed. And they think NASCAR is great today. Hardly. I'm not bitter, i go with the flow. But it's not the same.
this is Susan. Never will be the same but as you said you have to accept changes (some good and some not so good), but dang when a change is made leave it in place long enough to see if it is or isn't a good one. Nascar is really inconsistent on occasion. Oh who am I fooling they are inconsistant period!
