Kasey Kahne nabbed the pole for Sundays race at Pocono. Kinda funny to see a Bud car win the Coors Light pole. I know it doesn't take much to amuse me, lol. Anyhoo the rest of the top ten starters are: Queen Jimmie, Mark "Part-time" Martin, Regan "Holy Shit Another DEI car" Smith, "Not Front Row Today" Joe Nemechek, Flipper, Junebug, A.J. "Hey This Does Have Wiings" Allmendinger, Scott "Mr. Geico Caveman hisself" Riggs, and last but not lest in tenth starting position is SHRUBS!!! BTW, if you have been hiding under a rock, Kyle will be racing ALL three (luvs that number) series this weekend at three (there it is again) different tracks in three (man that numba rocks) different states. That is what I call a love for racing, no fuckin wonder he is so good.
Speaking of good, Ron Hornaday and that 33 Camping World Chevy held off Shrubs for the win in the truck series last night in Texas. Taking over the points lead once again from Rick Crawford. Two observations, one Kyle drove from the back and DIDN'T wreck anyone doing it to a stellar second place finish. Stellar you ask??? Considering Shrubs DIDN'T spend any seat time in that truck and to motor it to a second place finish defines stellar to me. My second observation is Scott Speed. That "Mr. Metro Sexual I paint my toenails and have manicures and pedicures as much as ANY of the NASCAR wives" is the real fuckin deal. He and Rick Crawford banged coming out of four going into the trioval and that shot him down the infield into pit road at full speed (no pun intended). Miraculously he hit nothing and drove out of it back onto the track leaving ALL the members on pit road in amazement. Despite the fact that he too didn't have any seat time and had to start in the back and eventually crashed out of the race, that had to be the sweetest piece of driving I have seen in a long time. Total car control after the fact. There ya have it, just like dat.

Well, here it is: Kyle is overrated. First of all he has no fear in him yet. He's young and he thinks he is invincible; therefore, he takes chances other guys don't. Especially the married ones and more so the ones that have kids. Second, he doesn't use his brake very much and one of these days that is going to get him in big trouble.
He finished 2nd and still bitched about his truck. And in the Nationwide race, he was a mess. Probably still stewing about the fact that he didn't win the truck race. Well boo hoo to him.
Hey, Junior's boy won his first race!!!!! Now it's June's turn.
