Lets give the proper respects to another FIRST for Junior at Texas, a POLE in a HMS car. Statistically speaking that would mean hand over the trophy and hat right now to the driver of that 88 Chevy National Guard team. Sort of fitting you win the pole in an "armed" services car and they give you a fucking shotgun...SWEEET!!! Other notables are: Flipper, Shrubs, Mr. "Pocket Protector "Flyin Ryan Newman, Queen Jimmie, Reute, "Dart Without Feathers" David Regan (whom out qualified the "author" of his nickname), Matti, Mike (good thing his name isn't "Dick") Skinner, Kasey "Not Da Budman" Kahne.
On to the ONLY story to outshine Junebugs Pole run. Michael McDowell had one of the most vicious wrecks I have ever seen, then to walk away without a scratch simply put AMAZING!!! The interview after was even more enlightening to that young man's personality, he was pissed cause he fucked up the car. Not only did he MAN up and take responsibility for over correcting, he also "popped" that sponsor name quite a few times during that interview. I think Mikey has taught his new up and comer well!!! By now most have seen the wreck and heard the interview, so I won't post it. If you haven't click on the link on my sidebar and go to my bud's blog NASCAR Ranting and Raving. My boy has both the wreck and the interview up. I have to say, the COT is one AWESOME car as are the safety devices the drivers wear, and the S.A.F.E.R. walls. It proves that NASCAR has learned from it's losses, this is one time I can honestly say NASCAR got it RIGHT!!!

My husband's name is Dick and I never call him that either. Unless of course I'm mad and add another word behind it.
