A Few Random Thoughts

Since we last heard the news from the "Rock" that Andy Hillenburg has bought the speedway, it has had two important announcements. One that as of yesterday (Oct 31) it is official and financially his and that supposedly has also secured two events for next year. No details on the latter, but if you ask me I would guess maybe a Nationwide (Busch Series for those who will forget) race and possibly a truck race. May be even just two of one series, even so the "Rock" is back!!! Thanx Andy for not just keeping around a awesome little bullring, but for the memories of the races to come.

A rather big bird with funky glasses has been rumored to be making a big announcement on Friday around twoish. Bruton Smith (with that devilish smile) has been linked to the purchase of New Hampshire International Speedway. Lets see, fuck you Charlotte no drag-strip I am packin up and building a new speedway, Charlotte finally says PLEASE Mr. SMITH don't go we'll even name a highway for you, to I dunno yet, to buying yet another raceway, how much fuckin money does this brother have??? Shit if he can pull ALL of this off and still make buttloads, sign his ass up for the Presidential ballott. Think about it, a President who can declare a National holiday for every race 'specially at the tracks he owns, and take the economy and multitude it to a profit. I'd vote for him in a minute. Almost bet my ass he wouldn't be fighting a war, he'd be building more race tracks. More race tracks mean, you got it people...MORE NATIONAL HOLIDAYS!!!

Here is something funny, RWI has now changed from Dodge to Chevy. Must have gotten a great deal on some outdated Cup chassis for next year. I mean his son Steven has crashed everything but the fuckin pace car. So Rusty is thinkin if I change the crew chief at least four times, change manufacturers and engines, maybe even expand to two teams and hire another "great (LOL)" driver as a teammate, install bumper pads around the car, attach a cable to the nose of the car and hook it to the rear panel of the second RWI entry, Steven might just might finish a race without crashing out or crashing someone else out. RIGHT, knowing Steven he would turn right when he was suppose to turn left!!! Rusty quit living out your dreams through your kid. Get out of the booth and get on the pit box. Your kid can't drive and you can't announce. Maybe Mike will let you "borrow" Loren or Chrissy. After all Chrissy did become the first woman to win a late-model feature at Hickory.
