Has The World Come To An End???

First of all I would like to apologize to my couple of faithful readers for the lack of posts. If it wasn't it for Wifey and my Tire Pups, I think I would of lost it. My 98 year old gramma has been seriously ill. A pillar of health her entire of life as with the quick thinking wit and wisdom she has shared with me the last 43 years, has made these last couple of weeks hell. She has been my rock for so many years, it has been a bitch of a situation to see her want to give up and not live any more. I understand that she has out lived her husband, sisters, daughter, leaving just her and myself. I can't help but be selfish when she says she wants to leave this earth, I DON'T want her to. I have come to realize though that her place is no longer with me but it is back with her husband, the greatest man and grandfather in the world. She is ready as I am not. I love her, she is MY Nino.

One last question: Has the world come to an end??? Not only did JGR boot J.J. Yeley and hired Shrubs, they also confirmed all the rumors that they will also be racing American made rice-burners next year. Add in the majority sale of Hall of Fame Racing (you know the "secret" JGR R&D team, LOL) and the HIRING of J.J. Yeley and that is enough to make me ask that question. Has the world come to an end???

When people that age are ready to go there is no stopping their thinking that way. They are tired and worn out. I saw it with my grandmother, and much as I didn't want to believe her, I had to let her go.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hang in there. We all love you.

Ok, which would you rather see, a Japanese nameplate car built by Americans, or an American nameplate car built by Mexicans or Canadians? It's a tough choice, but pragmatism, not politics wins out.
