Talledega repaving almost finished. This will almost assure faster speeds, better grip, and tighter packs as well as wreck fests. Gotta love it. I wonder how many "competition" yellows there will be. Probably right as the 24 or the 48 are about to get lapped or left out to dry, hey I'm just sayin. It will be interesting to see how the "plate" kings fare. Virgin surface can only mean one thing, unanswered questions on set ups. First time since the Great Seven Time Winston Cup Champion Dale Sr. was a rookie that Tally was resurfaced. Hopefully, Little E can be the first to win on the new pavement. Makes you wonder how well the beer cans will bounce off the new track surface if the wrong "person" wins it.
Our heartfelt prayers go out to the family of Steve King, who was injured Wednesday night in a crash during the opening night of the 46th annual Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway, passed away from those injuries Thursday afternoon. He was the former 2002 and 2003 NCRA 360 Division Champ. World of Outlaws and your fans will surely miss you, God Bless.
Props to the Big Earred Dummy and the Blue Douche for the pole winning lap at Watkins Glen. Good job Harvick and Burton. Junebug, not bad keep up the good work. Props to Kasey Kahne and Elliot Sadler(future teammate?) and Paul Menard. Hey, Mikey made the race on time and not checkbook.

The Dega Pics are awesome! I can't wait to see/hear if the drivers like the results of the re-paving.
HI, this is Susan Anonymous! Talledega.........Magic words. I love all of the restrictor plate races. At least they race instead of having cautions for debris . they seem to do that a lot at some of the cookie cutter tracks when there ceases to be a race since the leader always gets way out in front of everyone. I actually like "the big one" as long as no one is seriously injured or hurt.
i wish they would take those restrictor plates and shove them where the sun don't shine. i guess the kids aren't in the caliber of bill elliot and drive fast. now that the track is better it would make it worth watching.
