Bill Weber said Sunday that he'll stay "home" next year as anchor for the six early summer Nextel Cup races to be broadcast on cable's TNT.
"The way I look at it is that I have a really nice home and I didn't want to move," Weber said. "There might be other homes out there, but this is the right one for me."
Weber, the anchor for Cup races done by NBC and TNT in the current contract, will be in the booth for races 14 through 19 on next year's schedule. If there are no significant changes in the schedule, that would be events at Pocono, Michigan, Sonoma, New Hampshire, Daytona and Chicagoland.
That little bit of useless trivia was made possible from That's Racin.com. Six races we are stuck listening to Bill's dribble of complete who the fizzuck cares statistics and numbers of meaningless bull shizzit. If you take in consideration that 6 races a year is one sixth of the season. THAT SUX!!! I know MRN will be on for a certain six races. Props to him for his "unique" approach to journalism. He must have done something to get where he is at today, but if ya ask me or if ya don't I think he flat out puts my arse to sleep. I really can't watch, let alone listen to a reporter that reminds me of Barney Rubble. Yuk Yuk Yuk!!!
Off the subject, I must say that blogger even though it's free can suck the sweat off of Mikey Waltrips nasty greasy bushy puffy I wanna bouffant hairdo bug infested head of hair!!! BASTARDS!!!

MRN was on for me for Pocono and will stay on for the rest of the year. They also get much better driver interviews after crashes.
how much to put him on a cruise on a sinking ship? maybe this heatwave will stop him!
I like when the races are on Fox and FX. I just don't get the NBC and TNT guys at all. Guess I just like all of DW's corny comments and jokes.
Just do what I do: I wear headphones and listen on the radio and I turn the volume down on the TV. That way I also have access to the whole house and never miss anything. Besides, the radio guys are more interesting and make the race very exciting compared to boring TV guys.
