This week end started off so well. Last night with Harvick winning. Today with Burton and Bowyer on the front row. I am watching the race and out of nowhere I hear Jimmie Johnson is losing a left front tire. Let me say one thing before I get started. It WAS GREAT to hear Benny calling that race. Maybe it is his will to kick cancer's ass or maybe I am getting a little softer in my older age, it did my heart good to hear him call a pretty good "better" than normal Benny Parson's race. Anyways back to the disaster called the Brickyard. It was bad enough to see Gordo comeback from three(even in this case I still luvs this number) laps down to finish sixteenth. Great job to Tony Eury Jr. Good call ya made. BEST one you made in a long time. Man if it wasn't for that last call to stay out, Junior would have sucked hind tit AGAIN!!! I guess it is better to be LUCKY than GOOD sometimes, huh??? Great job for all THREE(even better now) RCR cars on their starting positions and finishes. Happy in third, Clint in fourth, and Jeff Burton finishing in fifteenth. All in all great day for the RCR bunch. Madd props to Matt Kenseth on his second place finish. Personally I would have dumped Jimmie by accident and went on to win the race, but oh well you have morals. I still think it would have been just payback to Gordo for Bristol. After all the Rainblow Warrior does own a part of that car. I wonder if he owns the "tailpipe" part...hmmm! What a comeback for Stewie. Damn a eighth place finish considering where you were at the start of the race, FIZZUCKIN GOOD. Nice job Martin Truex Jr.,Tony Raines and Scott Wimmer. Good to see Kasey is all right. Now that was a hard ass hit!!!
All right here we go... Good job and one hell of a race for that Blowes Chevy and Sir Chadwick "I swear I didn't cheat this time" Kmouse. Really to start out like he did and continually move up through the field like that was really a credit to that 48 Team. Oh SHIT that hurt to say. Now Jimmie that you got that elusive Brickyard win out of the way, I was wondering something. Are you ever gonna feed that skinny anorexic looking woman of yours some food??? Or since visiting Africa did she envy the Ethopian woman so much that she wanted to look like one??? I am just sayin...

Bah Humbug! The only good thing about that race was the call Eury Jr made with a sixth place finish for Junior vaulting him up one spot into tenth place in the points. NOTHING ELSE MATTERED!!!!!
where's the sniper in indiana when jj's tires need some more deflation. i wonder if they're pulling smoky yunick tricks and have a legal car go through tech?

I agree with Cheyenne. Go Jr.! that was nailbiting at the end. Like he said not the ideal way to get 6th place but it was the #8's only way to get it. the way things were going he was going to be close to the bad finishes in the last two races (tell me it ain't so!). Now he's in the Chase so now it's just fighting to stay there. DEI had better get their act together cause next week is going to be a toughie for Jr. and many other drivers. Unfortunately they want be able to: " go fast, turn left and don't wreck." they gotta do the right turn thingie. I personally don't care for road races but I guess some people do or they wouldn't still be having them on the schedule.

I missed the friggin race but made it to the party an hour and a half late after being stuck in a cattle drive for and hour...besides already being a day late from too much gold fever...

Dawg, that wasn't luck. That call to stay out was brilliant. Junior earned that 6th. I might have to eat my words that his season is shot for the Chase.
Wish Newman could of hung in there next to Junior, but what the hell, I'll take a 13th.
