GEE!!! I think I'm Sorry

TONY APOLOGIZES!!! He fizzuckin should. I realize in this sport emotions run high as well does adrenaline, but what a dumb-ass move Tony did. He was talking about that if Dale Sr. was still around that lessons would be taught the old school way. How to race and give and take. Seems to me someones spotter should take some responsiblity as well as Smoke. Racin out of a corner at 170 plus causes such a thing as "momentum". HMMM... makes sense to me, so Tony WTF??? I can totally see why Carl did what he did. Not to say he was right in spinning the 20 car in the pits. Taking and risking pit crew members is about as stupid as what Smoke did. I don't think if Sr. was around he would make much difference except where Junebug is concerned. Nascar is going "New School" while the old school vets are moving on. Unfortunately tradition and histor-E are being lapped as fast as Kevin Harvick did in Martinsville this past Saturday. Silly Season is here and as silly as can be. The week off will do all the teams good.

That apology seemed ummmm... writen by a PR person? Ya, I think so. A little too politically correct. Just my thoughts when I read it.

The possibility of Sr. setting things straight were he still with us would probably be as a director in NASCAR maybe alongside Helton. And, yes, he would have a big impact on what is going on today. Even if he were racing yet, I still think his opinion would matter. He was in like Flint with Helton and those guys, since they were all friends. C'mon, give Tony a break. He may have apologized but I really don't think he should have. Has Blaney apologized to Junior yet? No. Not that anyone knows of. I would like to think these past 2 races never occurred. And now we wait 2 more weeks. Ack!

get the F*** outta the way next time 07. these new school kids can't handle rubbins racin'. i'm on smoke's side all the way. obtw if JJ takes the championship i'm going ballistic. jr. shouldn't have the luck the 24-48 teams deserve. i got a lot of indy car racing before i had to put up with NASTYCAR and all commercial tv. split screen and cbs not having commercials every other lap makes for good viewing. hey my man Kannan even won.

Tony's anger got the better of him during the race. Lucky for him it didn't cost him as much as it could have.

I think things would be different if Dale Sr. was still around...it would definitely be very entertaining to watch.

Hey, here's something to think about: who paid Blaney to take Junior out? That was my first thought when it happened. He may have been driving slow, but Blaney could have gotten around him. Since when is he fast anyway? I am still stewing over that so-called maneuver. Damn!

Let's see if Tony has the same opinions when he is the one that gets wrecked after some looney does what he did. Guaranteed he will have a few "choice words" because it always seems to be different when he causes a wreck or is on the receiving end. As for Jr. I like the comment above maybe Blaney meant to take him out for the day and lose places in the Chase. Never thought of it til I read that. No not dumb just water logged from the beach!
