The COT has come a long way since it's conception. I know everyone thinks these things are ugly with the wing and all, but I think they are kinda mean looking. Opinions are like assholes, I am an asshole so here is my opinion.....brrrrraaaaappppp! I really think when they are all done configuring and tweaking this car out it WILL provide alot safer cars and better racing. Shizzit even Junior likes them. Even after slapping the wall with his, our good friend Richard Childress let him test an RCR car. He had positive things to say about both cars. Most to his liking is the inside and cockpit room. Overall testing is going smoothly and to the drivers liking. I guess the real test will be in the first race with ALL the cars being "equal". As far as how they look, only paint and decals will tell. Until then it is all speculation.

And isn't he on probation thru Dec 31st? Or did I make that up to satisfy myself? Anyway, 25 points dropped him from 9th to 10th. I would have parked his butt for a week, and I think Gordon got off light when he shoved Matt. He should have been parked for a week too.
Just cruised in via Blogmad. Never been a huge NASCAR fan, but you can't go wrong with American made cars with V-8's going 200 mph (not to mention that most of the biggest sponsors are beer brewers!).

I do think the COT is pretty fug, but I think it will be pretty cool too see how all the "equality" of the race cars plays out on track. I just can't get over the wing!
Shrub the Younger got off way too easy. He's such a fool. Wouldn't it be hilarious, though, if he lost the championship by less than 25 points? Not that I want him to be anywhere near the title hunt, but if it had to be, I'd want it to be that way.
Not sure about the COT yet--without any races under its belt I am going to hold judgement.

It'd be great if he missed the chase by 25 points. Actually, make that the 12th place spot so we don't have to listen to him yap in NY later.

I applaud NASCAR for trying something to make the cars safer but after seeing those slick ass cars for the past 15 years the new "COT" is just ugly as shit.
I really don't dig the forward thingie on the front air dam...no way that thing doesn't end up breaking and causing a caution or even worse, flying off into the stands.
the car looks entirely too piece meal to be safe for fans surrounding the track.
My prediction is that flying debris will be the wave of the future...just like those little tin can looking Indy/F-1 cars.
