For those of you that are either new to this sport or younger than my older ass, this is your histor-E lesson on Johnny B. Besides being the son of a racer, a 1993 ASA Champion, and the 1995 Busch Series Champion. He beat out Chad Little that year for the championships with only two wins to his credit. Bahari Racing gave him the 30 Pennzoil ride and Johnny went on to win Rookie of the Year in 1996. Not only did he grab the pole at Atlanta that year, he damn near won the Brickyard. He would have had it not been for a fizzuck-up in the pits. After finishing eleventh in points in '97, Johnny went to race for the "Cat in the Hat" Jack Roush in the 26 Cheerios car. Not having to much luck at Roush Racing, Jack let him go at the end of the 99 season. Johnny then went to Tyler Jet Motorsports to race an unsponsored white Pontiac to almost a surprise win at the season opener Daytona 500. Poor unsponsored/ little bit of sponsorship woes forced the team to be sold to MB2 Motorsports. August of that same year Valvoline not only sponsored the car but became a part owner. Having some fairly good success going after 2001 and going into 2002, Johnny went back to race the Busch Series(just for fun) and wound up getting hurt. Rockingham in November was berry berry good to him. He won his first WINSTON CUP race. Then came 2003, the 10 started off strong but struggled for the rest of the year. Then Johnny got the boot for Scott Riggs. Pheonix Racing gave Mr. B. a Busch ride. After a crappy start, both Johnny and Pheonix said SEE YA!!! August of that same year (2004 keep up will ya), BDR gave Johnny B. the 23 Toyota Tundra ride in the truck series. Since joining the 23 who knows what it is sponsored this week Tundra team, Johnny B. has joined the elite THREE(YEAH BABY!!!). Last weeks win and Friday Nights win say only one thing. HERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRES Johnny!!!
Madd props to that number 20 Rockwell Automation Chevy driven by rookie yes I said rookie Aric Almirola. Awesome job, congrats.

I really oughta catch the truck races more often. Congrats to him on the win!
I like Johnny! He's seems like a good natured guy. Good to see him win the past 2 truck races. And to also win a race in all 3 series.
Hey... your boy Happy got a little pissy tonight!! He just recently got back on my good side last year. Alright, I still like him. But I think karma may have been served in WI.
Question...Johnny had laser "surgery" done on his eyes so that he no longer had to wear glasses. This happened years ago. Yet when I saw him on TV a few hours ago, he was wearing glasses. What happened? I was hoping you could fill me in on that.
Ohh... good question Cheyenne! I was wondering why he's wearing glasses. You rarely see any drivers wearing glasses. Sunglasses don't count.
Good luck to your drivers today!!
