Saturday Night At The Races

Well now how about KHI's own Ron Hornaday??? Kick-ass job!! Madd props to that 33 crew. Unsponsored and wins. One hell of a win. Quoted from the truck series site: "It's been an emotional week," Hornaday said. "We lost Ann, a girl who works in our office. She lost her life and we don't really know why. And T.J. Clark and his family lost their son Spencer. It's just been an emotional week. That's partly what that burnout was all about, I wanted to get a few minutes to get my emotions under control. But I am a competitive person, and (Kevin) Harvick always says he is the king of burnouts, and I wanted to show him I could go all the way around the track lighting them up. I guess that shows you how hard the tires are here that we went all that way and only blew out the right front! Lets see if the Goodwrench Chevy can do that Sunday night. Looks like ya got somewhat of a throwdown Happy.

Congrats to Carl "Flipper" Edwards on one hell of a win and a race. Casey, YOU didn't lose the race your crew chief did. On the other hand noguts no glory. Two hard hits in the Buschwacking Series by Jamie McMurray and Tony Stewart took them both to go see the nurses at the local hospital. Jamie with a headache and Smoke with a sore shoulder. Both checked out ok. Good learning day for Mark and the 88 Navy crew on how NOT to drive into the corner. Glad your ok though. Tough luck bit Matt in the ass. Blows up with a potentially race winning car. Clint, well nevermind he doesn't like Blowes anyway. Good comeback Happy in the Coast Guard number 21 Chevy.

One thing left to say or rant about. What the FIZZUCK is Micheal Waltrip doing. Admittingly good move to keep his sponsors happy but wtf? He buys Derrick Copes spot for 100,00 to be in the the show. I personally think it is bullshizzit that he did that and NASCAR let his- bushy headed sell out to Toyota cause I can't have the same crew chief at DEI so I will take my toys and leave to partner up with dumb-ass BDR who sold out Dodge for Toyota in truck series for quick payola and easy intro to the series cause the rice burnin let in country company to build cars has a bunch of payola to dump into the program to "try" to dominate the Cup end of the program when the COT will make it almost a who gives a fizzuck what it says on the header because all the cars will be the same so who will be fizzucked now self, pull the buy-out of another qualified car. That is not right. Didn't make it, too bad, so sad boo hoo, take your NAPA Chevy/Dodge(which ever it happens to be this week) home and wait til next week!

I don't like Michael Waltrip either anymore. His stocks went waaaaay down when he left DEI and started bad-mouthing Jr. in his "comedic" way so as not to make himself look bad.

Ya, he is running the #74 car. They showed him during practice all cramped up inside it. NASCAR is letting him display the #55 to keep NAPA happy, but NASCAR is considering it to be the #74 car.
I was disappointed for Mears tonight! Was REALLY disappointed before that when Matt's enigne blew up. Damn.
Glad all the drivers are okay.

You know..I'm a new nascar fan. When I lived in Canada I didn't know a thing about Nascar...but from what I see is, it's an american race, with american made cars? So why the hell did they bring toyota in?

Mikey, what is left to say. I guess while you were at DEI (thanks to Dale, Sr. doing your bro' a favor & letting you drive for him) you got the big head (or should I say hair?) cause you placed well in restrictor plate races. Wow even in the real world someone is "buying" you a ride.
Sorry for Tony.
Busch Brothers got what they deserved til they learn to behave like adults.
Jeffy...........no pity for you. Maybe you could try to start another fight (don't forget your helmet!)
Go Jr. Go! Thought he did great considering the penalty (penalty?)
Not a big Rouschketeer fan so I really don't pull (or watch) for them, ever!
Really dont' pull for Kahne, but he really has to prove himself since he has the "pretty boy" label. He did do good but maybe only becuz his team mate had some rough pit stops.
