Who thought back in 2001 in Ed Barrier's garage that a part-time toy would be the start of KHI. Now at 70,000 square feet and growing the warehouse holds the 33 truck team driven by Ron Hornaday, the 77 Dollar General Busch team driven by Burney Lamar, and the 33 Old Spice/Outdoor Channel Busch ride driven by Kevin, Smoke, Ron Hornaday, Ron Fellows(road course) and probably anyone else who wants a contending car to drive. What started as a hobby has grown into a multi-million dollar corporation. Setting Kevin and DeLana up for a long life of racing, as owners and driver. With a KHI record three wins , twenty-four top fives and forty-three top tens in truck for the last five years, and in Busch KHI entries have gotten two wins, seven top fives , and sixteen top tens in the last two and a half years. Proving that being a driver for an owner gives you that little extra insight that some teams lack. State of the art facilities and top of the line equipment together combined with the will and drive to win make KHI one of the future superteams. Not to mention the experience that Delana brings to the office as well as the track. Can you imagine when the time comes for little "Happys" to run around the Harvick household, how bad the temper tantrums are going to be?

This is one time I think I am "Happy" to admit I could be wrong. Rumors have it that Kevin will sign a long term deal with RCR to drive that Goodwrench Chevy to many more victories and hopefully a championship or two. Harvick sure looks good in a "Bow-Tie". Hey Red Bull Toyota Racing! Aren't you guys Robby Gordons sponsor anyways? Since Red Bull gives you wings, why don't you fly the fizzuck back to Robby's shop and stay there.
