Hampton Georgia is the place. The one and half mile quad-oval is the battle ground for this Sundays Golden Corral 500. Many great races and finishes have happened here. I can think of two that appeal to me. One involves Ironhead and the other involves "Happy". Especially beating the Rainblow Warrior, gotta love it. Anyways back to the track, once known as Nascar fastest track with typical qualifying speeds of 193-plus miles per hour. It has the capacity to hold over 125,000 crazy-assed NASCAR nutz. The facility has even been used for a shelter for the evacuees from hurricane Francis. After getting hit by one massive tornado in 2005, the cost to repair the old girl between 40 and 50 million dollars. Got to hand it to Bruton Smith who purchased the "Atlanta International Speedway" in 1990. Kicked ass and took names. Races went on without missing a beat.
Geoffery Bodine holds the qualifying record at 197 mph in 1997 and of course you know you would see it Dale Earnhardt holds the race record at almost 164 mph in the fall race of 1995. I hope history repeats itself as far as good racing. Now if they would quit throwing out the caution for debris, jeeez I say hit the shit and have a real caution!!!!!!

aw breeze just give him a chance although the stereotyping is funny.
They should have no reason to throw a late caution with 3 laps to go. It should not be a run-away race and they won't have to tighten up the field like those god-awful flat tracks. Now let's see if they make a liar out of me.
I think the late cautions are rigged. Bunch of bullshit.
Oh no, there's a hot dog wrapper on the track, through a caution so we can have another green/white checker finish.
Still mumbling over last week's race...
