Even though this is the fifth year marking Dale Earnhardt's death, I can't help but remember the others that recently passed in NASCAR. ALL deaths were tragic. NONE MORE important than any other! That being said, I wonder why the HELL it took NASCAR so FUCKIN' long to make these safety measures mandatory! Maybe if they would have done this earlier, one or two more lives may have been saved. Who knows, now it is ALL speculation.
Mad props to Tony Stewart for stepping up to the plate and opening his mouth to NASCAR about slam-drafting. There is a big difference in bump-drafting and slam-drafting. Bump-drafting is an art form that takes common sense. Watch Dale Junior, Tony, Kevin Harvick, poetry in motion. Slam-drafting, hmmmm only idiots with no REGARD to others slam-draft, J.J., "little" Busch, Ryan Newman. ALL great drivers, just no brains(commen sense). It is about time the drivers have a CHAMPION with the balls to tell NASCAR like it is! Biggest compliment I can give Stewie, reminds me of Ironhead. Thanx Tony! Thanx for just being Tony.

Yeah Tony for speaking out. Not sure if NASCAR's new way of fixing it is what is goint to work...
Can't believe anybody listened to Tony...Right now NASCAR is just using a CMA. We will see how it works out!!!
brings back some good memories dawg. i was a real Davey Allison fan and never got to meet him but got to go on Pocono with a worker who told me where he flipped while we were doing a hundred in a pickup truck. Tony is just saying what MM has already said-maybe Tony will be the next 'old school' racer?
Looks like our boys did good in the 1st practice today.
hehehe... that TV guide on my blog was altered by Denise to represent Jeffie better. Afternoon Dawg.
Let's get these duels underway, boys and girls! I can not wait to see Tony dominate over those pigeon Hendrick bafoons. I CAN NOT believe Knaus had to cheat to get some kind of edge over our boy Tony. I can not wait to see Kyle Busch put Jimmie JOhnson in the fense...I will laugh and go HA-HA-HA.
Nice post about those drivers we've lost. Cool blog -- I found it through Babs' NASCAR blog.
I agree that NASCAR needs to stiffen their discipline techniques. Not so sure how the "policing" of the slam-drafting is going to work. I have a feeling it's just going to piss off more people than it will help.
But, at least it's something, I guess. They need more, though. Kudos to Tony.
You are so awesome about making sure that no one is forgotton. Kudo's to you...You must be one heck of a guy in life....
Thank you!
