Saturdays post has come true. BDR and Michael Waltrip/Jasper Racing has made my predictions a reality. SELL-OUTS!!!!!! Even rumored is "Team Red Bull" might even employ Robby Gordon. Worst rumor as of yet is Kevin Harvick may be part of Team Red Bull. I sure hope not. I have a quite large NASCAR die-cast collection. Over 320 of them. I have almost EVERY one Harvick has had made. If "Happy" sells out I will burn EVERY one of them. As you all have guessed I am opposed to Toyota's entry in NASCAR. Yeah yeah yeah, I know they are built here in the states. Who the fuck cares!!!! What about "America's Big Three"? What will NASCAR do when Honda and Nissan want in on the action? Shit I know, they will call it JAPCAR, or if keeps going the way it is call it NAXICAR. Madam Cleo ya better watch out, there is a new dawg on the porch.

Ahh...just speculation at this point. But Happy's not been so Happy with RCR for awhile and quite vocal about it...

Whatever happened to the big three? Well, Dodge is owned by DaimlerChrysler, a company based in Germany for one. Ford has just said it will lay off 30,000 people, and GM is on the brink of bankruptcy. There's going to be a time, and I'd say it's closer than you think, that investors in these companies will not see the benefit to cranking out millions of dollars per year to support racing. NASCAR had to do this for the sport's future beyond just this year or next. Don't be surprised to see Nissan or Honda join either. Any guess what? The racing will probably get better.
things in our sport will be changing no doubt. with t-ota coming in and with so much money-which drives NAZICAR-what will become the underfunded smaller teams? will rcr be looking on the inside from the outside? ford/gm has just had to cut down to a profitable size and the xtra money for racing will be smaller.
