We all have our vices and our addictions. Admitting them is half the battle. My name is Tiredawg, and I am addicted to NASCAR die-cast cars and raced used sheet metal. What started out as a "small" idea for decoration in our old "hang-out" now "NASCAR" room, has turned into an addiction gone wild. At first beloved wife said, " Hey go ahead put a few of your cars on the wall". Now she says "Are you out of your friggen mind"? I lost count after 300 of them. It is weird what collectibles are worth these days. Stuff you would think as junk is worth butt-loads. Look at Jeff Gordon die-cast for example. Rookie cars and signed pieces are the best ones to get if they are available. This IS my story and I AM a Die-cast junkie.

Yowza! You are as crazy as I am. I stopped my addiction with this year. Instead of 1:24s all I am buying now are the 1:64s of Juniors. Had to do something. Lost my job, don't wanna lose the husband too.
Holy Jalapenos!!! All I have is my Kenseth duck. I don't like collecting things because that means I have to dust them and dust and I gon't get along.
Okay, I have a Kenseth T-shirt and a friend sent me a Kenseth hot wheels car. LOL! And I want 17 decals for my car. But I promise, I'm gonna stop there.
Oh and I have the Greg Bffile Foundation Nascar Drivers and their pets calendar which, btw has Jr and Killer for this month. But that's it... and a few Kenseth trading cards I bought off eBay...but that's all I swear!!!
The Kenseth duck is doing just fine. I'm keeping him dry right now. I noticed on the bottom that he is marked 0471 of 5000. Guess they didn't sell very well, but I haven't seen them marketed anywhere. In fact, I saw it in Dale Jr's DVD, Any Given Day and looked forever for one. And then Wendy in England pops up a year later with a site in Canada that sells them. They have Mark Martin and get this... Jeff Burton and Kurt Bush in their former Roush attire.
Ha Ha Ha I thought my NASCAR swag addiction was bad. My wife saw your post and said I wasn't as bad as you. I took that as a green light to buy more stuff.
My stuff is 90% Ryan Newman. Rest is 1 Rusty car and some Army/pro military cars. Only Earnhardt thing I have is an old Earnhardt trading card (1987) of his Wrangler car.
At least your addiction is in another room. Mine is in the living room. My poor wife. The other side of the room is the George Bush wall lol.
Okay now I don't feel to bad...check out my Tony stuff nascargranny@blogster.com...I don't know how to post pics here yet...
