The bracelets were made to honor the victims of 911 and have their name on it. My bracelet has the name Charles J. Houston.

I never looked up the name before but wore the bracelet for some time. For some reason today I feel the urge to look up Charle's name and see if I could find out something about him and found your blog.

I am 42 years old, like Charles was and ironically I am adopted. Just found that interesting. Thank you for sharing about who Charles was. I am glad to know about the man whose name I am honored to wear!

P.S., while I am do not watch much NASCAR...I do love to drive fast!

Warm regards,

~HeidiHeidi Riccinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17905712.post-45932377804545115462011-02-28T14:12:42.409-05:002011-02-28T14:12:42.409-05:00Hello,

Do you realize they were just in Grade 1 when all this went down? When I realized that I also realized that all those kids out there who are missing parents as a result of this insane act of terrorism are now 7 years older and still fatherless, or motherless, etc. and my heart goes out to them.4ever3https://www.blogger.com/profile/18025421177685485247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17905712.post-30941703069358170762008-01-17T22:12:00.000-05:002008-01-17T22:12:00.000-05:00He was my uncle and what a great guy he was. I have posted a tribute honoring Sgt. Michael Curtin, a NYPD officer who willingly walked into collapsing buildings five years ago on a rescue mission. His body was recovered in the rubble of Ground Zero March, 2002. So many lives lost....so many heroes.

DianeDiane Vierehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02859925247520578754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17905712.post-1158085370611511362006-09-12T14:22:00.000-04:002006-09-12T14:22:00.000-04:00this is Susan. thanks to all families (including y...this is Susan. thanks to all families (including yours) who helped before or after the horrible loss of life that occured on 9-11. An old girlfriend of mine lived in NY . Her husband worked in the Windows to the World Restaurant in one of the towers. Needless to say he lost his life. It was devastating not only for his wife but his son. Thankfully she is engaged to a nice man who truly loves her and the son.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17905712.post-1158024648400880792006-09-11T21:30:00.000-04:002006-09-11T21:30:00.000-04:00What a lovely tribute!
